When Lau Nu from Myanmar chose to become a follower of Jesus Christ, her family and neighbors reject
When Lau Nu from Myanmar chose to become a follower of Jesus Christ, her family and neighbors rejected her. “The people realized I don’t bow down before the monk, and I don’t really act like a Buddhist anymore. They realized and noticed that I became a Christian. They don’t want to talk to me anymore because I became a Christian,” she said.“They said I was a betrayer,” the 73-year-old widow continued. To help Lau Nu secure a livelihood, Open Doors, through a local church, has given her goats - two female ones and three kids. She has great hope that once the kids grow up, she will be able to sell them.Pray that Lau Nu and the many Christian widows like her will continue to display amazing faith and dependence on the Lord’s providence. -- source link
