antoniopolophotography: BLOOD DROPSDear Friends, followers and visitors,This set of photos is dedicated to all of you. This ten photos are just my last roll of film (Ilford HP5+) shot on my Hasselblad (and yes, two photos are missed…).This photos are as blood of my life…small drops flowing in a incomprehensible world…They are probably my last photos….unless till a future that now I can not foresee…. Each of them has been shot knowing that they would probably be the last ones, each of them should be “perfect” as I could not allow me any repetition, error (technical orframing). I had to be very sure about if I really wanted to shoot each of thephotos…This does not mean if they are good or not (most probably they absolutely are not good enough), they aresimply moments… airresistible desire of catching a real world that seems to evaporate through mylens….in the cold, the hard cold… moments.Moments of loss.Spain, mycountry, is living a extremely difficult crisis, large unemployment and miserable and survival wages for those luckyhaving a job…When I was achild I listened the word “poverty” as part of a tale….Now povertyis round the corner. Now povertyis knocking at my door.I´m completely bankrupt.Yes myfriends, when you even do not have money to eat, nor home, photography is a far dream ofa world of luxury. A play of the Eden Garden.Since next Sundaymarch first, what used to be my “normal” life is finished…and I´m not sure if I will have any possibility of connecting tointernet, to check tumblr, like or reblog. Sorry for this inconvenience.Pleaseconsider today´s posts as a kind of farewell, a musical farewell. And also a tribute of my last film roll to all of you. Finally, Iwould like to say thank you to all of you, friends, followers, rebloggers, visitors, editors, wonderful people I have methere on tumblr. I hope we will be in contact in the future. Many, manythanks for all your support to me and my work this wonderful years.I hope thisis not a farewell, just a short goodbye.Antonio -- source link
