“The class you taught this morning was my class.”Was 13/1/2015 a bad day for us? I entered the wrong class FOR FORTY MINUTES.The students didn’t say anything when I said I was going to be teaching them history. They had the “Ok, whatever!” attitude, being unruly and testing my patience. Not that I didn’t expect that.Only when the next teacher waited outside the class, they showed me their schedule. The one that said it was not yet my turn. My time with them was supposed to be in another 2 hours! So they got 120 minutes with me that day, instead of 80 minutes.Good thing the class I was supposed to enter was a quiet class. They just sat at their place, talking quietly with their friends. And when I explained the ‘Classroom Etiquette’, it only took half the time as compared with the first class.Oh, and the actual teacher who was supposed to be in talked to me after school. “Oh, The class you taught this morning was my class. I did see you enthusiastically teaching the class. I didn’t want to mess up your flow.”THAT CHEEK!I was thisclose to mentally strangling the students during 'enthusiastically teaching’ part. And I did see her walking by, all smiley. It all make sense now. -- source link
