“Isn’t the school area flooded?” It’s quite unnerving to receive the above reply when I introduced myself (around my neighborhood) as the new teacher of my school. Especially because I have yet to visit the school at that time. (Yes, I rented the house prior to visiting the school. Thanks, Google Map) So, you can imagine my relief when I visited the school and found the area to just have spots of puddles. No flood in view. The above picture is the area about 2km away. Even though it has been raining continuously for the last three days, my school is still safe. From flood, at least. -- source link
