Mud bath on Formentera by ourbig move. On the island Espalmador there is “Parc Natural de Ses Salinas” (yes, the same name as the one in front of our house at La Revista), a nature reserve with a mud-bath. We walked through the dunes and reached a big lake. Normally there is no lake, only mud-pools. But because it had rained three days in the month September there was a big lake now and it was hard to find the pools. Stef, Michelle and I went in and rubbed the mud on our bodies. It hurted a bit, because in the mud are salt crystals. We walked back to the beach where we rolled our bodies through the dried seaweed. Normally the mud has to dry on your body, which makes a beautiful soft skin. But we did not want to walk nude the whole shore to the end of the island. At the end of Espalmador, where you can wade to the other part of Fomentera during low tide, you have a really amazing view! We asked a man on the beach to make from us a nice group portret. -- source link
