Book 15. This book was really good. I started it today and finished because it was so good. It’s an easy read and flows really nicely. Since Emoni Santiago got pregnant her freshman year of high school her life has been about making touch choices. Her mother died when she was born and she lives with her Abuela who has been helping her take care of babygirl, Emma. When it comes to cooking Emoni is one of the bests cooks and doesn’t have to think to hard about it. She dreams of working as a chef after she graduates but Emoni knows that it’s not worth her time to pursue the impossible.
