fyeahthemagicians:@jade.tailor: I adore this woman more than I can express in words @themarleematlin I am beyond inspired by the powerful, strong, badass woman that you are and am honored to play opposite someone of your calibur and talent. Tonight’s episode is an incredibly special one to me because it does something I haven’t seen done before on television. The writers/ creators did an incredible job representing the deaf community and will perhaps give those with hearing a glimpse into what it’s like to have a different ability. I sort of despise the word disability because it is in fact is a DIFFERENT ability. My hope is that those watching might gain a greater understanding of what it is like to be in someone else’s shoes, giving a deeper sense of empathy and understanding of others.
