Jackass: The Movie (2002) This is a Movie Health Community evaluation. It is intended to inform people of potential health hazards in movies and does not reflect the quality of the film itself. The information presented here has not been reviewed by any medical professionals. Jackass: The Movie has extreme strobe lights as fireworks are set off in the middle of the night in two separate locations, and during a roller disco segment, immediately following the rocket skates stunt. An early scene has some welding with no warning.Almost the entire film is shot on handheld cameras, sometimes with shaking as the camera person runs. One camera is mounted on a playground merry-go-round, causing the camera angle to spin for several seconds.Flashing Lights: 9/10. Motion Sickness: 8/10.TRIGGER WARNING: This film shows several real and painful injuries, including a close-up of a gash being stitched up. There is excessive gross-out humor involving urine, feces, and vomit. There are instances of cultural insensitivity, and there is one brief joke about suicide. -- source link
