They’re making everyone focus on it and making everything ‘us vs them’. Straight vs gay, male vs female, White vs black (because they don’t give a shit about any other races, they barely give a shit about the two already mentioned) instead of telling everyone that we’re all people, all capable of the same greatness and faults. They make every issue related to a specific identity as opposed to actually delving into why it actually occurs. Nah man, this issue isn’t because of mental health, poverty, lack of education, etc. It’s all the white males, that’s the sole problem. And when they get everyone obsessed with race, enemies and allies, suddenly we get a lot of racists who judge people solely based on their skin… shocking that obsession with race causes.. well, people to focus on race. If only I had the surprised Pikachu meme on hand.while “Us vs. Them” rhetoric is a problem in basically all groups, I feel this post is being pretty hyperbolic with the “90%” bit. or like.. alot hyperboliclike aah yes, the problem is the baby activists yelling about microagressions and generalizing ppl as a form of venting,not how some of the most influential and powerful people in the world uses the oppression of marginalized people to fill their own pockets, and thus will do everything in their power to keep that shit going regardless if ppl on the internet are going “ugh straight white men” or not /sit’s just very hard to believe racism in the west would be 90% over if leftists stopped complaining about white ppl when at the same time we have the same amount of people on the right who believe in “the great replacement”and like.. “stale historical wounds” in context with the age of humanity as a whole, WW2 wasn’t actually that long ago, and segregation in America even less so. The thing is, I don’t really care much about other people reblogging this, I just reblog what I either totally or partially agree with or find interesting or what I like. I also think the 90% is an overstatement. And I definitely don’t want to deny the fact that there still is racism, homophobia, oppression, all these things. I just think…too many people nowadays are obsessed with race and gender and sexuality and make every Problem and every issue about that…so I definitely resonated with that part of the post.I don’t reblog a lot of actual political stuff because my stances on some things are rather ambiguous sometimes. I also don’t debate ablot because I’m not the best at voicing my opinion like this.
