Embera woman in a town near Sambu river Panama I bought a really beautiful hand made mask of a jaguar of this Embera woman. She allowed me to take a picture of her. It took her a couple of days to make the mask. She lives in a village near the river Sambu in the Darien Panama. It took 20 minutes or so to walk from the river Sambu to her village. The picture is taken in a communal house. About 20 women were making handicrafts in this house. The Embera people live very traditional. It’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. -- source link
