Some of those were in people’s houses, who had volunteered to let travelers come in and pee. That was still a necessary thing.I know I’m fairly ancient by standards here, but I keep getting shocked seeing that commentary. Because it really was not that long ago. But, obviously not everyone grew up hearing stories from people who were there. -- source link
