It’s not healthy. There are a ton of people reblogging this actually happy that there’s a solution for this.my cat does this. and honestly this might solve his problems… i.e. SLOW THE FUCK DOWN, CAT.I’m not gonna lie, I think I need one of these for me.It also gives them a little bit of physical and mental exercise, which can be good for indoor-only kitties. Mine never really figured out the food ball but I think even they would understand this.Tinkerbell is one of those cats who eats too fast and too much that she pukes! She was a bullied litter runt and instinctively horfs down as much food as she possibly can because she’s afraid another cat will steal it (even though she’s our only cat, bar my porch visitor that I allow inside on occasion). I’ve started only feeding her small handfuls of kibble every few hours instead of a large bowl because it regulates how much she consumes but something like this seems like it would be pretty useful for someone who isn’t around all day to be vigilant.This is a very clever and excellent idea right here to help stop kittehs from making themselves ill! <3my friend has this for her kitty who was super overweight!!! it meant she couldn’t eat without exercising and working for it, and this plus a healthier cat food has got her down to a healthy weightAwwwwwwww I’m so glad that this helped this kitteh get down to a more healthy body weight for her!You know I’ve always wondered what these things are in the rooms I cleaned at the cat shelter. News to me. O.O So with that in mind, this seems like a good toy. Plus, cats like playing with their food sometimes, I think? So this maybe gives them that experience a little bit.My experience is that the eating too fast problem is most pronounced in cats that grow up in multi-cat homes where there’s competition for the food.
