I hope that at least some of you have heard about Tony McDade a Black Trans Man who was shot and killed by the police just two days before George Floyd.The intersection between Pride this Month and the Black Lives Matter Movement is significant. We can trace its steps back to Marsha P. Johnson an outspoken advocate for gay rights and one of the prominent figures in the Stonewall uprising of 1969. @blackvisionscollective is a great place to start if you’re looking to advocate for Black Trans Lives.
