Who cares..75 caliber cap and ball, pistol gripped with musket barrel featuring three balls serving as hilt, hand rest and pommel. 28″/71cm long double-edged steel blade attached to an extended tang plate.That amazing piece of weaponry, covered in patina, would have been used either as a petronel by cradling the blade under your arm and shooting basically from the chest, or as a long-handled two-handed sword, kind of like a short glaive.Chances are it wasn’t used at all though. -- source link
