nymphoninjas: Hello Ninja. For as long as I can remember, trees have always played an important part in my life. The sweetest memories always come to my mind when I look back at the moments in my childhood, spent under the old apple and fig trees at my grandmother’s back yard, for instance. Trees make the air we breathe purer; they give us shade and food; they are home to our other fellow living beings. And, although most people tend to forget about it, trees are living beings too, and so important to the planet we all live in. Many of them are centuries old, most of them were here before we were born and will still be here after we are gone. They are strong, solid and beautiful. When I go on hikes and search for their shade during a break, I always ask for their permission before I sit down. It’s a question of manners. You don’t go on people’s houses without asking for their permission first, do you? These photos were taken on a very dear place to me. Those pine trees stand on the sand dunes near the beach I go to. They have been there for almost eight decades now. And if I love them, why shouldn’t I hug them? It’s so amazing to feel their trunks, the moss and the scent of resin on my naked skin. Get naked in the wild. I promise you won’t regret it. -- source link
