Dancing is my passion but I think what’s most important to me is being able to create songs that people will really like. I love writing and I love singing, even improving rap is a goal for me and I think that I could bring all my skills light if I was accepted into a company,” he said when asked about his ambitions. If Jaebum was being honest, his goal was to be well rounded, to improve and be better than decent at every aspect of being an idol. He knew that if he was accepted into a company became a trainee and more specifically an idol he could do a lot with his given skills and talents. “I want to inspire people, not just fans or critics, but other people like me… who want the same things I do,” he explained.
