The real loss here is that diversity improves quality. Even when minorities and their lives are the subject of a cartoon, representations of race can be disappointing. Maybe because they just haven’t had any directors that happen to be black be a better candidate than a director that happened to be white? That could very well be down to the fact that there’s a lot less black people in the US than other races. 0 actually doesn’t reflect the US population.
