londonandrews: Purchased my first NUC of bees for springtime from @hungrybearfarms !! Nucs, or nucleus colonies, are small honey bee colonies created from larger colonies. The name is derived from the fact that a nuc hive is centered on a queen… I am a bit nervous. I have taken some classes from @rocbrainery and in Canandaigua… but I still feel like I need to know more. Going to pick them up in early May!
