Back in September I set off on a 5 and half week long solo journey through Oregon, Utah, Arizona and California. I lived out of my car, slept in campsites, along the side of the road, or in the rare hotel room or airbnb when I felt I needed to. This was the longest, most challenging trip I’ve ever done. Despite how majestic this photo might look, there were days that I ached to be home. Days that I went hungry because I didn’t want to go over my budget. Days that it rained all day long and all I could do was sit in my car and drive around in the middle of nowhere. But through all of it, I know that I am privileged to have had the chance to do this. I am lucky to have seen all that I have seen and to have met all the people I met. And I wouldn’t ever take it back. In fact, I think I might just be crazy enough to do it again. - @k_sto -- source link
