onlymonica: I passed the 8,000 follower threshold today - the most I’ve ever had for any of my sites. Before I get too happy about that, here are the statistics: Out of 8,000 followers, - 3,500 forgot they ever started following me - 1,500 lost their tumblr passwords and never check their blogs anymore - 1,000 have either passed away or are no longer capable of using the internet - 1,980 might occasionally see a pic of mine, but yawn in total boredom as they scroll tumblr looking for juicier pictures - 20 people either reblog my pic and/or write to say something nice or interesting.
