letsblogaboutcanadianpolitics:youl00klikemynextmistake:smilodonmeow:letsblogaboutcanadianpolitics:amidstthetrees posted this photo of an error page on the NDP websiteThe next picture is the Conservative website’s error pageAttack ads, attack ads everywhere They’re both attack ads, but I don’t think they’re the same. The NDP attacks Harper’s PLAN. It’s a cute line, but it’s going after his policies. In contrast, the Conservatives attack Trudeau personally. I think there’s a world of difference between the two.Exactly I’m not fond of attack ads myself but the attack ads presented here are different…one is attacking policy and records as a leader the other is just personal attacksthe NDP is going after Harper’s policies and record and that’s okay especially if most of it is true yeah it’s an attack ad but their ads actually have truth and substance to them they are not attacking him personally so those kind of ads are okay to air.what the conservatives are doing are entirely different with their “just not ready” ads towards Trudeau those ads are insulting and cheap personal attacks towards him which is just not right let alone they are already over-hyped and tired…those kind of ads should be not be airedVery interesting points regarding types of attack ads. It’s interesting to note the impact that the Conservative-esque attack ads have actually have. Those who are already supporters of the Conservatives tend to enjoy these ads, whereas those who are undecided or more left leaning are more convinced to vote for Trudeau after these ads.
