little-geeky: Russian Assassin - Dmitry LavrouBirds of Truth contest piece I created.FULL VERSION [x]I thought I’d show the progress I went through to create the piece, I love it when other artists so their progression from sketch to their final piece. I started with a sketch, then completed the line art. I was able to add more detailed and fix a lot of things at this point. Then base colour, shading and final clean up. Yes I can’t draw hands. I had to take a picture of my own and then use that as a base of the hand. Overall I’m really pleased with the piece and I’m so shocked to learn I came joint runner up! I win a prize apparently which is awesome! I didn’t even expect to come a place, I thought I’d come last. -- source link
