gallianoactone: DIOR announces changes to their in-house “John Galliano” brand such as changes in the lettering design from the the old “gazette” style of the logo/label. http://www.vogue.co.uk/news/2015/06/02/john-galliano-new-fashion-line-and-logo Now we know that Dior fired John Galliano so he doesn’t design for them in any capacity since 2011. Other designers were hired in his place. So shall we say that the above label is just a little misleading to the public? Dior will use “contractual obligations” to defend themselves against duping the public but they own 92% of the “John Galliano” brand and can do anything they want with it. I would like to tell them what they can do with it. If Dior doesn’t want to change the name of their “John Galliano” brand to the name of the man who is actually designing it (Bill Gaytten), then may I suggest calling it “NOT GALLIANO”. Happily, you can find new and original John Galliano designs that are actually designed by John Galliano at “MAISON MARGIELA” where he is creative director.
