furryandfeminine: Body image has always been important to me ever since I was in middle school. Several years later, my body image is still important to me… just in a different way. I learned that it’s okay to have body hair if you want or not, it’s okay not to shave ever or shave all the time. As a woman, I’ve gone through so many razors just to get that super soft skin, but a year or two ago I discovered something great: I shouldn’t shave if I don’t want to. Ever since then, I learned to appreciate the skin (and hair) I was born into. Yes, I get a lot of negative attention but in the end all that matters is that I’m content with myself. Inspired by the super lovely baretobush, I’m going to shave off all of my body hair- except for the fuzz on my head- and document its growth for an entire year. I may also make posts about other features of my body such as my fat among other things. I hope to encourage women and support those like me with this blog. Starting next week, all of the hair will be gone to start anew! Happy hair-growing, everybody! -- source link
