Today is also my #shotday I would not be here today were it not for my support system and for the people I have seen be #transparent and #unapologeticallyqueer . It is important to be visible because I have the luxury of safety. I know first hand how much it means to see someone that you can identify with be out in the world and doing okay. You can be trans and safe, trans and happy, trans and healthy, trans and employed, trans and loved. It’s not easy, but transitioning and becoming more yourself is without a doubt worth it.
