I was thinking about Tiu today and came up with a few facts/ideas! I’ll pop them under the cut!He always liked and wanted to help people - which is why he joined the Seraph originally. He wanted to help protect people!He has a younger sibling (Only by a year or two) but they don’t get on.He moved from the Seraph to the Vigil (He didn’t really agree with how harshly poorer folk were treated by the guards and soldiers etc), but also wanted to travel which he could with the Vigil - but was placed in a unit with a very unjust and cruel General, who often mistreated civilans. When Tiu tried bringing it to the attention of the higher ups they ignored it, or sided with the General over Tiu’s mounting evidence. It all culminated in the General executing a bunch of “prisoners” who were just people down on their luck who had the misfortune of being caught trying to steal food from what the General was hoarding. Tiu stood up to the General and they fought, with Tiu winning. The Unit was split in two - half wanting Tiu to be “brought to justice” and the other half agreeing with his actions. This half left and defended Tiu, who ended up with all charges against him dropped, but also was dismissed from Vigil service. Shortly after he was contacted by the Harbingers.He isn’t from a super wealthy upbringing, but you wouldn’t know this - his manners and speech are indistinguishable from someone raised by nobility when he wants to blend in. He’s very good at blending in in general - able to speak in different ways depending on the general class of the people he’s trying to gather information on. Personally he just speaks fairly normally - just a tad formal.He might be super jacked and tall, but he’s very gentle, and likes paper crafting and folding - like Origami.Tiu doesn’t drink - he much prefers constantly being alert, but he doesn’t mind when people do!He’s not a fan of killing, but can and will if he has to - he has taken out several people as part of his secret role of Harbinger.He’s wary of people getting close to him - his work is dangerous and discreet, and he has many enemies after helping bring down all sorts of people to face justice. -- source link
