altersociety: Hello, Everyone!Y’all know I hate to have to do this again, but I am still out of work and I am close to running out of available funds to support my ongoing transition expenses, so I have to ask again for any kind of help y’all can and are willing to send my way.At the beginning of the summer, I was employed at a privately-owned franchise retail store, but the transphobic owner of the store asked me to present as my assigned sex/gender, and for my own sanity and mental health, I had to resign from the position. Unfortunately, because of how things are where I live, I have been struggling to find employment.I had a job interview last week, and I am waiting to hear back on that, but in the meantime, I’m down to my last couple of estrogen treatments (I do a weekly shot but will be switching over to a different, more affordable form of treatment soon), and in order for me to ensure that I don’t have any disruptions in my regiment, I have to reup as soon as possible. All the donations I have already received have gone towards hair removal, medical expenses (including the costs hormones), and therapy, that are all a must for a trans woman in transition, and I deeply appreciate everyone that has helped me afford these things as I could never on my own.If you don’t know who I am, my name is Polly Anna and I’m a nonbinary trans woman living in central Texas. I’m a poet, a musician, and a first-year graduate student (studying poetry) as of this fall. So already, the costs of living and schooling are dawning on me.My transition fund via paypal can be found here: http://tinyurl.com/polsfundMy paypal email for direct transfers is polthepoet@gmail.com. Thanks again to anyone and everyone who has supported me through this trying time, either by donating or by spreading the word of my situation. I love every single one of you and I promise that I’ll keep you in my prayers forever.Sincerely,PAR -- source link
