I think it’s appropriate for me to make this joke but, I think I girlbossed too close to the sun, My health has not been the best these past few years and last month, I had to be hospitalized for severe asthma, and undergo a medical procedure. These all happened within the first 2 weeks of march, which kinda sucks because I had a lot planned, and so many opportunities had to be let go. Due to the severity of my condition, my doctor suggested that I get a tracheotomy, so I can breathe easier.  Yes, I breathe through a tube in my neck now, I’m technically considered physically disabled. It’s a huge adjustment, but thankfully, it gets easier each day. A series of bad decisions have gotten me into this predicament. Now, my physical health hasn’t been the best these past few years, and I don’t want an emergency like this to happen again, so I decided to undergo the procedure even though I was scared of the changes. As per my doctor’s advice, I’ll be on hiatus, and I won’t be able to work for a few months so, if you could spare some tips, I would really appreciate it. I’d like to lessen the financial blow to our family by being able to still help with bills so, any amount is a huge help. Being hospitalized twice now, I feel like I made such a huge dent in my family’s finances. (healthcare is so expensive here) For now, I will be focusing on myself. I’ll still lurk around here, but I won’t be posting as much art. Also, if I’ll draw, I’ll be doing it only for myself. I haven’t been drawing for myself in a while, been too caught up with finding work and trying to get commissions Thanks so much for taking the time to read and I hope to get better quickly to be able to do what I love.
