theblueskyphoenix:Little fun AU picture for my OC Lotus and Atem.Atem was a prince that was put into a deep slumber many many years ago after being fatally wounded by Zorc Necrophades. He was mummified to a degree and was enchanted to one day re-awaken should Zorc return. Fast forward to a quite some time later, Atem is re-awakened by the return of Zorc and sets out to defeat him once more. While traveling, he still has his bandages on him due to the magic still working slowly to restore his body to full strength. (In other words, he can’t take them off or he might lose a limb if he’s not careful. Eventually he’ll be able to take them all off but for now he’s stuck as he is.)During his travels, he meets the daughter of the current king, Princess Lotus. He had wandered to the palace wondering who was now in charge and crossed paths with her in the gardens. She was perplexed by his appearance and was curious about him. Atem at first is secretive about himself but with time opens up to her and the two form a strong bond. And that’s the short version and what have at the moment. As said, just something fun for these two. XD Don’t know if I’ll really expand on this but it was fun to draw Lotus as a princess and hey, I’m getting better at drawing Atem so, win win.
