CONTINUING TO DECIDE THE FUTURE OF RK’S LC9TW: DEATHHere we are, back with the update following up our announcement from last week. With a total of 88 votes, the result of our poll in the lead is to have King simply leave the group in RK canon, with 51%. The result in second is to follow real life’s events exactly, with 21%. The other options lagged behind quite a bit. Even though this is a pretty decisive lead, we don’t want to jump into a decision here too quickly, and as such, we’re going to run one more poll between our top two options so our course of action is certain. Before we launch into the new poll, there’s one point we didn’t cover in the previous announcement that we want to bring up for your consideration as we decide the final course of action. As LC9 are senior artists, and Rookies is a roleplay that relies on music and covering of senior artists, it’ll be important to consider how what this poll decides will impact characters covering LC9′s music. Motive and emotion is huge in performing, and the feelings characters experience while covering a group whose member left, and a group whose member passed away, would be very different. Since this is the context that will have one of the biggest impacts on the way we roleplay in Rookies. As you vote, think about what you would feel most comfortable potentially writing about, and seeing others write about, because this is inevitable for us to deal with.Without further ado, here is the new poll!
