Friedrich Kallmorgen - Weather in Hamburg [1890]Friedrich Kallmorgen (Hamburg, November 15, 1856 - Karlsruhe, June 2, 1924) was a German Impressionist painter who specialised in landscapes and cityscapes. In 1875, he visited the preparatory class at the Düsseldorf Academy of Arts under Andreas Müller and Ernst Deger. Subsequently he moved to the academy of Art in Karlsruhe, where he studied under the landscape painter Hans Fredrik Gude and stylistically followed the Barbizon school, in combination with Dutch influences. -- source link
