The canyon is about 5km (could be more, or less) from the gate of the park. You don’t see until you’re actually there there. At the edge. You park your car before even seeing it. It feels like it takes an hour to leave the car and walk to the edge to see this mars like wonder. Fish river canyon left me in awe. .
