This is my entry into the FailbetterGames Fallen London hallowmas craft contest. This pair if be-tentacled masks I made seem perfect for the holiday. I started with a paper mask base, then layered antique text in a variety of languages over top of them to the point of illegibility (is it a code? Were these texts banned by Mr. Pages?). The metal tentacles are hand drawn, embossed and cut and are my own designs. Rubbery man approved! Or at least I think he was approving, it’s always so hard to tell with those fellows. Photographed and modeled by myself as well. One of the masks (and the octopus cameo earrings I am wearing) are for sale at Katarinanavane.etsy.com .
