Deyivas EM Yateneshi, EF Kinsili, YAF Amsiryth, YAM Ymar, CM Yohir Colors: Bronze & Gold Hou
Deyivas EM Yateneshi, EF Kinsili, YAF Amsiryth, YAM Ymar, CM Yohir Colors: Bronze & Gold House Deyivas, it is a name that holds weight in Uranesia. For their spirits fill the glasses of the religious and the wealthy alike. At one time, it was Ymar’s birthright; Deyivas. The honor. His father’s name, his father’s house, his father’s legacy. Always his father. His father, Yateneshi, had spent all of his life building this empire upon the foundations of Ymar’s late great grandmother, crafting her burnwater into a sharp edge. Ymar had great respect for the efforts of his great grandmother, even his dreary father, but wine-making did not sing to him, did not make love to him, and the smell of it made his belly turn.Though drink did have its purpose. Blasphemy as it may be to his father, Ymar always thought drink was most useful when used to inspire the truth from others. It was why he seldom partook, and why he often enjoyed the company at the Tavern. Perhaps it is why Ymar always felt he had belonged more to his mother, Kinsili, and her line. She was an artist, though he lacked any of her talent. He was quite terrible in fact, though it mattered not to him, he still pursued her craft. In truth, this made the endeavor more amusing to him. For his mother certainly would have appreciated this twist, were she still living. It was his sister, Amsiryth, and he, who were there when their mother had passed. Yet it had always been Amsiryth and he. Amsiryth, a woman, and yet she carried them all, especially he.Ymar preferred not to think of his sister, but rather, preferred to think of his debt to her; the charge she had left behind in death. Yohir, bright, dutiful, he who was so much like Amsiryth that it made it that much harder not to remember. The child whose father they know not: for even on her deathbed, Amsiryth refused to speak of it.It mattered neither to Ymar. Yohir was Amsiryth’s blood, his blood. Nor did this matter to his father. For Yohir was Yateneshi’s legacy, the one who would carry the business on his eight seasoned shoulders. For his father had been rearing the child for this burden since young Yohir had been snatched from the altar.Deyivas. It is Yohir who will now inherit this name, and its weight, but Ymar will do his best to shoulder as much of it as he can, lest his father spoil the young child’s fun with it. ༺═────────────────────═༻ Guys…. Writing this in Ymar’s POV was not easy. It’s some depressing stuff that’s gone down in his family, but he’s a very flippant humorous guy, so it was hard to relay this while keeping his voice accurate. And yes, I know this color scheme is about as chaotic as you can get, but I don’t have it in me to do anymore re-shoots.I’m just GLAD to be done with the Deyivas household! It was 3 months coming. -- source link
