Brooklyn Afternoons return to the Brooklyn Museum on Tuesday, October 24th. One Tuesday per month, when the museum is closed to the general public, we open up our doors to individuals with memory loss and their care communities. We invite individuals experiencing memory loss, brain trauma, and other dementias to join us—the only requirement is a willingness to live in the “now.” We look at the art in front of us and discuss it with one another. We practice presence with one another. And we laugh a lot.
