housewifeswag:Apparently Wasatch High School in Utah decided to PHOTOSHOP PICTURES OF YOUNG GIRLS BECAUSE THEY WERE “NOT IN DRESS CODE”. Tattoos were removed, straps were thickened, and sometimes, the shirt was completely changed. There was no consistency in this editing. Some girls were wearing nearly identical outfits and their photos were not altered. Many of the girls with photoshopped pictures said they’ve worn that outfit dozens of times to school and never had a problem. Wasatch County School District Superintendent Terry E. Shoemaker defended the decision, and said that the yearbook would not be re-printed. Admitting that a more “consistent approach” should have been taken, he did however say there was a clear dress code - and that students had been warned their pictures may be altered.“We only apologize in the sense we want to be more consistent with what we’re trying to do," he told Fox 8.Because apparently now we’re teaching teenage girls that their shoulders are too sexy and they’re revealing too much skin. -- source link
