Motherhood is the craziest most amazing thing I’ve ever done. It really is such a miracle isn’t it?! My sister told me about an app called @peanut that is basically a safe place for like-minded mums to have the ability to meet + connect with other mamas. I find that even with all the unconditional love you receive from your baby and support from family all around that motherhood can often feel lonely. I’ve also been so surprised to find that anytime I bring up the combats and battles of motherhood (which isn’t exactly a conversation starter haha) that there are many women going through the exact same thing. Being an introvert, I’m not exactly what you’d call the ‘party starter’. So finding good relationships that last a long time has always been difficult. Especially with women who have the same interests and values as me. That’s why I was so excited to find out about this app. We all need to recognize that real-life connections (aside from baby talk, haha) between women at similar stages who share common interests and locations are important!
