fantaboy91:This is what sports anime looks like To be fair this is a clip from Stephen Chow’s Shaolin Soccer, one of my favorite films: a comedy film about a family of kung fu brothers who use their skills to play soccer in order to lift themselves out of poverty and to restore faith in the world in the value of Shaolin martial arts, so it basically is a sports animeUnfortunately it does have an incredibly cringey yet strangely poignant romantic subplot, but this is balanced out by tai chi and dance sequences so maybe it’s a wash -- source link
