nixxie-pic:God bless our dear housekeeper Una Stubbs, sadly passed away after a short illness today at the age of 84.I had the great pleasure of meeting Una a few times. In the mass photo bottom right of the above montage I was umming about getting out of my wheelchair to make the photo look nicer, but didn’t know if my legs could do the couple of steps, and she and Sian practically ran over and said “We’ll help you over, lean on us and don’t fret.” They wrapped their arms around me and let me lean on them for the few steps over whilst my carer moved the chair out of shot. It was SO lovely (They got me back to my chair afterwards, even though my legs were all wobbly from standing up and Una fussed over me like a Mum to ensure I was okay.) It was adorable. In the left photo she asked if it was okay to perch on the arm of my wheelchair to get closer and she hugged right into me saying “The photo will look better this way.” and then “I’m not crushing you am i dear?”. what an amazing lady.Una will be greatly missed by the Sherlock fandom… She will always be MY HOUSEKEEPER!! -- source link
