Would Billy and Teddy even celebrate it, given the holiday’s rosy (horrifically inaccurate) colonialist lens? We ultimately decided it seemed like something they’d observe (Teddy will NEVER turn down pie), but with mindfulness and history in mind. So this year, we encourage you to decolonize your Thanksgiving: - Research whose land you are living on at Native-Land.ca or www.whose.land - Read about the true history of Thanksgiving.
