Comic book cover for Justin Clay’s Action at a Distance, displayed at Gallery 1010 in Knoxville, TN. Justin commissioned several artists to do a cover for each issue in his planned limited series, representing the various interpretations of his narrative as depicted by different artists. I loved pouring over the detailed notes and world building that Justin had created, and putting to paper my interpretation of his epic sci-fi story. For the show, these covers were surrounded by the world building notes and sketches behind the series, all of which were in invisible UV ink, which would only be visible for brief intervals throughout the show. In normal light the comic covers would be visible, representing the distillation and interpretation of the narrative, while in UV light the “data” would appear, representing the narrative in its raw form. -- source link
