archiduchess3: titenoute:archiduchess3: melgillman:I drew a quick little comics essay today about a topic near and dear to my heart: horror for kids!Or, “why some kids like to read books that scare them, and why you should let them.” Once, my son got afraid of a clown. And of course, he was terrified to go to bed. So for a few nights, he had drawn it and we would put it on fire. I’m not sure it was the best way or the more educational, but it felt good to see this asshole burn. Ok but I have to ask. Did it work? Also, unrelated, didn’t you have a friend who did the same thing, but with a gnome drawing? It did workI’m not sure about the gnome. I know he saw one, but I don’t remember if he had to get rid of it Oh good. Fuck scary clowns! I remember he had seen it and he drew it. Then he proceeded to loose his fave pencil after. So he decided to burn the drawing bc maybe, just maybe, the gnome didn’t want to be drawn and to his pen in retaliation. He found his pencil after he burned the picture. I always found this story hilarious. ( No I don’t think he found his pen thanks to that. If my memories don’t fail me, he was just a pretty messy dude) -- source link
