The crew comment that “even” Hux has deserted, implying they are surprised he has abandoned them/the project, and2. Hux didn’t actually abandon them or it at all; he only went to Snoke to find out what orders he should follow next. That said, I have a horrible feeling that when he said “There is nothing that can be done” he wasn’t expecting to be given an order to evacuate. He was expecting to be told to go down with the ship.And he would’ve. With a stiff upper lip, eyes glassy with unshed tears as he watched his life’s greatest work crumble away, his heart aching. -- source link
