reidreceipts: SHALLOWS Young girls are dredged from the shallows in a Cape Cod town, and local law enforcement begrudgingly reaches out for help from more seasoned investigators. Quinn Marchbanks, a young forensic psychologist out of Boston, wants nothing to do with her hometown and its dark past. She wants nothing to do with the Behavioral Analysis case file and consult request waiting for her one Friday morning in midsummer. But girls are dying; girls like the one she used to be, before everything. Reluctant and leery, she makes the drive out there. Recovering from a recent loss, Spencer Reid is more than happy to throw himself into a case that will take him somewhere he’s only heard about in stories. There’s been talk of consulting with a forensic psychologist—a young woman who grew up in the area. As the case begins to dredge up the past, as the profile grows more and more unusual, and as Reid grows curious and curioser about Dr. Marchbanks, it becomes clear that something has been festering in this picturesque town. This was a photo I took while I was there in 2020. A local photographer has some more great shots here! Keep reading -- source link
