mandelene:Yep. In my high school, we would practice making barricades. The boys knew to grab the filing cabinets and stack up desks whenever a drill was announced. Then, we would split up, turn off the lights, pull down all of the blinds, and hide. But to add onto the replies, it’s not just a Gen Z thing – millennials that were school aged post-Columbine have been taught this as well. My sister is about to turn 30 and had them. That means two generations of students have now been raised to worry about a potential shooting at school. It’s so sad. -- source link
