I first saw him when he got behind me in the line at the register, even though he didn’t seem to have anything to buy. He wound up getting just a pack of gum so I wasn’t even out of the store when he was finished. He was walking past me when the wheel of the cart with all my stuff broke ten feet or so into the parking lot and he was very nice to help me pick up and carry my groceries to my car. When I thanked him he made a comment about walking behind me being thanks enough. I thought it certainly wasn’t and decided he should get a closer look so I bent to show him right there in the parking lot. After that human instinct sort of took over both of us and now I’ve got a four year old son who looks nothing like my husband. Sometimes I wish I’d got his name or something. -- source link
