A flat-color commission of the client’s OCs Jacob and Xia! The game they were in was wrapping up at the time I drew this, so it was meant to serve as sort of a “thanks for all your hard work!” piece - not exactly a goodbye, but an opportunity for reflection and joy as the characters take a bit of a rest. I’ve drawn these two a lot, so I tried to evoke the affection and warmth between them that I’ve always enjoyed drawing. -- source link
