I think that Lauren Bacall may be one of the sexist women ever to have lived - this was the scene when I fell for her… hard. (It’s from ‘To have and have not’ - Slim has just realised she’s in a bar without any money, so improvises in order to solve her problem) Such amazing poise, self confidence, and whoredom (although in a very subdued, 1940s style). I adore this… and am constantly stunned that she was 18 when she filmed this. Poise and self confidence is incredibly sexy - being able to own your own sexuality, knowing what you are worth, knowing the impact you can have on those around you. As a friend of mine is fond of saying “You don’t get what you deserve, you get what you act like you deserve”. A good note for whores and potential whores - accept who you are, own your strengths and your worth, carry yourself with pride… Sure, allow yourself to be owned, subdued, humiliated, and used if that is your need… But the rest of the time - hold yourself to be of great value. It’s amazingly attractive…. and makes breaking you so much more satisfying and fulfilling. -- source link
