Even though Mrs. Laurie and I have been married almost 37 years, this Valentines Day marks 40 years since the day we actually met. Picture it: Ball State University, Muncie Indiana, February 14, 1981. She was on-stage in a production of “Godspell,” and I was in the audience, as we caught each other’s eye.
