This is the last repost and also for our weekday bloggers. If you’ve already commented to the first or second post, you don’t need to worry about commenting here! Remember, this is the LAST repost before I make the list! Okay, friends! As I mentioned yesterday, it’s time to purge and update the “Connect With Other Writers“ page! This is how I’ll be doing the old KSW Follower Feature from now on. So, what the heck is the KSW Follower Feature for? It’s for you. I talk a lot in my posts about finding a group of writers that you can connect to, share writerly pains, battle with word wars — basically, your support group. This isn’t always easy to do. In fact, if you’re a 100% introvert like me, reaching out to others is a scary thing. So, here’s what you can do if you’re looking for more writerly friends: Reply to this post. (Not through the ask or submit post, please!) Leave a brief blurb about yourself with your name/alias, and make sure to include no more than two favorite genres. This’s how I’m gonna group y’all. (And don’t worry if one of your genres is “fanfiction”, just specify what fanfiction!) Don’t know what to say? Try any number of these that you want to fit: general stuff you like to write about, what story you’re working on currently, your favorite books/authors, a time that a book made you cry, pen or keyboard, the musician/music that inspires your writing the most, if you’d be interested in word wars and sprints, how much you love us If you need some examples, you can check out the “Connect With Other Writers” page or the previous KSW Follower Feature. Then, I’ll compile everyone’s Tumblog and blurb to make a brand new list for “Connect With Other Writers”. If your writing-specific blog is different from your main one, you can specify so. I’ll repost this a few more times throughout the rest of the weekend and work away at it over the next week. Make sure you leave your reply to the post only, not through ask or submit. Right here.
